What Size Dumpster Do I Need?
Small dumpsters are typically used for "small" remodel jobs such as 1 to 2 rooms or if you want to clean out the attic. "Medium" dumpsters would be used for a small roof job or if you lived in a house for more than 15 years. The "Large" dumpsters would be best for any construction jobs that include 3 or more rooms or if you have a lot of large furniture items to toss out.
Dumpster rental is the last thing you want to worry about, leave the worrying to us! Our staff can answer any and all questions about street permits, tonnage caps, and items allowed into your dumpster.

Trash / Junk Pick-Up
Large trash items, up to two (2) cubic yards, that won’t fit in your garbage cart will be picked up at no charge Monday through Thursday the first full week of most months. Refer to the attached Bulk Waste Collection Schedule. The schedule will also be posted on the Village website and in All About Allouez. Bulk waste includes mattresses, furniture, sinks, and wood less than four (4) feet in length. If the amount of trash/junk is more than two (2) cubic yards, there is an additional charge for the larger volume and it will be billed to the resident. Non-collectible items include fluorescent light ballasts and lamps, mercury lamps, gas grill propane tanks, lead-acid batteries, computers, microwaves, televisions, electronic equipment, tires, construction debris from remodeling, concrete, and bricks. These items must be disposed of by the resident at the Brown County Solid Waste Transfer Station (construction debris, tires, appliances, and batteries), the Brown County Recycling Center Household Hazardous Waste Facility (electronic items, paint).
Please note that electronic equipment (TV’s [$10 per TV], radios, microwaves, computers, etc.) and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, etc) may be taken to the Village of Allouez Yard Waste Site for drop-off at no charge except for TVs. Electronics and appliance pick-up is also available for a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) charge by calling the Village Hall.
Do not place trash/junk at the curb during non-pickup weeks. Violators will be given a forty-eight (48) hour notice to remove trash/junk from the curb and if not removed the Village will pick it up at a charge. The minimum pickup charge during a non-collection week is two-hundred dollars ($200).
If a trash/junk pickup is requested due to selling a house or moving, cleaning out a house, or moving out of an apartment, a pickup can be provided at a one-hundred-dollar ($100) minimum charge. Call the Village Hall to schedule.
The Solid Waste Transfer Station is located at 3734 West Mason Street. The purpose of the Solid Waste Transfer Station is to transfer waste to landfills as part of a three-county waste disposal plan. The county also maintains two closed sanitary engineered landfills. These landfills hold an estimated seven million cubic yards of waste produced by county residences, businesses, and municipalities.

New Denmark, WI Garbage Dump and Recycling Center Information
The Brown County landfill is also available to residents for disposal of large waste. The landfill is located at 3734 W. Mason Street, Oneida, Wisconsin. Rates, hours of operation.
Yard Waste
The Town does not provide for the disposal of yard waste and it is left to each resident to properly dispose of his or her own waste. Please note, the ditch is maintained and controlled by the Town. Yard waste should not be placed in the right-of-way as it can cause problems with drainage and flowage of water and block the culverts. Please consider recycling your waste by composting and/or shredding.
Household Hazardous Waste Facility New Denmark is an active participant in the HHW facility located at 2561 South Broadway in Green Bay. Residents are encouraged to dispose of old paint, stains, cleaning products, pesticides, fluorescent lights, computers, and old electronics at this center. Some fees for disposal may apply. Farm and business waste is accepted by appointment, only. The HHW also has a product exchange room where "like new" products and paint are available free to Brown County residents. The hours of operation are Thursday: Noon to 8 pm and Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.
